The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Hacettepe University has been founded in 1974 and the first engineers have graduated in 1978. The Department admits undergraduate students via the OSYM system and currently has 663 undergraduate and 475 graduate students.Main research areas in the department are Communication Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Electromagnetics and Microwave Techniques, Control Systems, Computers and Computer Networks, Microelectronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Machines and Power Systems.
