The Department of French Language and Literature, attached to the Faculty of Letters, offers a four-year course. The language of instruction is French. Students who are eligible to enter the Department must take the exemption exam; successful graduates are admitted to the first year of the Department's licensing program; as for those who fail, they must follow a preparatory course during an academic year.
A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish, Photocopy of the page of the passport containing the applicant's photo, 2 passport-sized photos, Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is Turkey Republic), must submit a certificate of identity register, Applicants who apply pursuant to the Article 4 of the eligibility criteria must submit a certified document which states the complete fulfillment of secondary education abroad, Applicants who hold Blue Card, Choice of interview and Skype name, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
