Gastronomy and culinary arts department aims to train qualified chefs for the accommodation and catering businesses. In the direction of this goal students are supplied with the following data, 2 foreign languages one of which is English, IT, tourism sector and tourism businesses, contemporary management and leadership, Turkish cuisine, International cuisine, principles of nutrition, food science and technology, and food and beverage production.

Additional Information & Requirements

Adequate TS 2 rank from the university exam YGS which is organized by OSYM , Pass all the required courses without having the grades; F1, F2, E or Z. Minimum 240 ECTS credits and Minimum GPA of 2.00/ 4.00, and also Complete their compulsory summer practices, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
