Program Overview

Department of Nutrition and Dietetics is the first school in Turkey that provides professional training programme at university level in this field. Department of Nutrition and Dietetics' Bachelor's degree consists of 4 years One year English prep class is depend on students' demand. The first stage of the programme includes basic medical sciences as well as nutritional sciences underlying the practice of nutrition and dietetics. Courses in the second stage are directly related to the practice. In addition to theoretical courses and laboratory studies, students carry out practical work in the field for community health and nutrition, and in hospitals for therapeutic nutrition and food service systems in institutions.

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish, Photocopy of the page of the passport containing the applicant's photo, 2 passport-sized photos, Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is Turkey Republic), must submit a certificate of identity register, Applicants who apply pursuant to the Article 4 of the eligibility criteria must submit a certified document which states the complete fulfillment of secondary education abroad, Applicants who hold Blue Card, Choice of interview and Skype name, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
