Program Overview

Department of Chemistry was founded as a part of Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1964. Chemistry and Chemical Engineering programs were begun at the same time. Then department was exceeded to Faculty of Science and Engineering in 1967 when Hacettepe University was founded as an autonomous university. Faculty of Science and Engineering was divided into three parts which were Science, Engineering and Chemistry in 1971, and then Chemical Engineering Department was founded as a part of Faculty of Chemistry at the same year.

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish, Photocopy of the page of the passport containing the applicant's photo, 2 passport-sized photos, Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is Turkey Republic), must submit a certificate of identity register, Applicants who apply pursuant to the Article 4 of the eligibility criteria must submit a certified document which states the complete fulfillment of secondary education abroad, Applicants who hold Blue Card, Choice of interview and Skype name, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
