Program Overview

The program aims to stimulate intellectual enquiry that explores Western culture in general and American culture in particular. It is designed to develop students' skills in critical thinking and problem-solving as well as to equip them with the kind of intercultural competence that will be suitable for a variety of professions. Besides courses aiming to enhance students' skills in oral and written English, the curriculum includes courses enabling them to analyze American culture and literature from literary, historical, and critical perspectives.

Additional Information & Requirements

Successfully Complete the designated program of courses and have no F1 or F2 grades. students must take the compulsory Introduction to University Life course, the Computer Literacy course and one elective course offered by the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture. 240 ECTS credits and must have a grade point average of at least 2.00 over 4.00, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
