The main aim of the Archaeology Department is to train individuals who has well-equipped, has an ability to use modern technologies in the profession and who has a mission to produce a research, education and other services in archaeology to provide benefit of the society in the light of universal values. An another important task is to train competent archaeologists who has an ability to uncover, protect and exhibit unique cultural heritage of our country with modern and scientific methods.
