Program Overview

Communication and Design Department; It aims to train cultural intermediaries that incorporate the concepts of communication, design and technology, and have the competencies to prepare, design and present effective messages in line with the policies and strategies of organizations by combining the use of technology in communication environments with design knowledge and skills. The curriculum of the department, which has been created differently from similar structures in Turkey, has an emphasis on both art and technology based on communication. There are various workshops, studios and laboratories for practical courses in the faculty. The department accepts students with the verbal score type.

Additional Information & Requirements

Pass the centrally administered entrance exam conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center OSYM. Complete the designated program of courses meeting a Minimum of 240 ECTS credits requirement, have a Minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 and no F1, F2, K, or Z grades, Official high school transcripts, 2 Letters of recommendation, Statement of purpose, Copy of valid Passport, Registration Letter, Health Certificate, Foreign Nationals Exam that is given by Ba kent University and the ones accepted by Ba kent, GCE General Certificate Education, Cambridge International A Level, SAT CR+CW+M: minimum score of 1000 out of 1600 writing included, International Baccalaureate:At least 24 diploma score out of 45, International science olympaids: Having a gold, silver or bronze medal from the International Science Olympiads recognized by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, West African examination council:Minimum 3 subjects in the related area of the applied program for 5 subjects with at least 25 points in total
