Program Overview

The Communication Sciences Undergraduate Program, which has been prepared by our expert and experienced academic staff, is structured with courses aiming to establish a solid foundation in the field of social sciences for the first two years. Experience based in the fields of communication sciences at graduate and postgraduate level iluustrate that existing job opportunities in different fields of communication can be developed by the presence of graduates who are able to understand and operate the culture, society and communication dynamics. In addition to the compulsory courses aiming to provide a strong foundation, the Communication Sciences Undergraduate program is structured with rich elective courses on four main axes: Cultural Studies, Political Communication and Political Economy, Cinema and New Media.

Additional Information & Requirements

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish, Photocopy of the page of the passport containing the applicant's photo, 2 passport-sized photos, Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is Turkey Republic), must submit a certificate of identity register, Applicants who apply pursuant to the Article 4 of the eligibility criteria must submit a certified document which states the complete fulfillment of secondary education abroad, Applicants who hold Blue Card, Choice of interview and Skype name, High School Certificates /Diplomas-a GCE A Level: Provided that the average grade is C in minimum; at least 3 A-Level; or 2 A-Level and 1 AS-Level scores from relevant subjects, International Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 33, with one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, French Baccalaureate-A minimum score of 14 in the stream relevant to the program applied, ABITUR -A maximum score of 2, one of the subjects being relevant to the program applied, Pishdanesgahi-A minimum score of 18, Foreign Language Points: TOEFL(IBT) 163 (Comp.based), TOEFL(CBT) 68 (Internet based), IELTS-5, CPE-C, UDS-60, KPDS-60, YDS-60
