Program Overview

The Department of Political Science and International Relations has been established within the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Istanbul Geli im University for the purpose of internationalization in education, with the aim of raising awareness-raising professionals with a quality, innovative and competitive education approach. Language of instruction in the Department of Political Science and International Relations is Turkish and it focuses on the global and regional levels in the state and non-state international actors, the general characteristics of the institutions and structures, political actors and structures, relations with the changes and with each other in economic and social sense, major international organizations such as the EU and the United Nations, different regions, particularly Eurasia and the Middle East, and the internal dynamics and foreign policies of the dominant powers of the international system, especially the US and Russia.

Students who graduate from secondary education institutions are placed to the programs they want to study based on the scores they got from the central examination, Original and Turkish translations of high school diploma taken from countries outside Turkey and TRNC, Valid examinations result certificate Turkish proficiency certificate, candidates should score in any field S Z, EA, SAY a minimum of 55 from ALES exam valid for 3 years or equivalent of GMAT or GRE determined by High Education Council, Certificate of graduation from High School, ALES Certificate, Photocopy of the Identity Card, Military Service Status Document, Passport, international examinations: SAT: minimum of 1000 out of 1600, Tawjihi: 60 out of 100, GCE: A level from at least two fields, one of them should be in the field of the program applied for, Baccalaureat Libanais: 60 out of 100, International Baccalaureate: Students who have International Bachelors Diploma with a minimum score of 20, Gaokao: A minimum score of 400 out of 750,
