Ba sociology in Hacettepe university

Since its establishment in 1964, Hacettepe University's Department of Sociology has become a leading centre to sociologic education and sociologic research in Turkey. Since the beginning, an interdisciplinary approach has been adopted both in education and in research and has become an example to future establishments of other sociology departments in Turkey. Students are prepared to their professional lives through courses based on theory and application both in undergraduate and graduate studies.
