It suits students who want to work with online platforms, social media, multimedia production, web design, and strategic digital communication, blending practical media production with theoretical knowledge of communication in society.

Curriculum structure

Year 1 — Foundations of Digital Media & Communication:
In the first year, students begin with general media and communication units such as Introduction to Digital Media, Introduction to Public Relations, Introduction to Corporate and Governmental Communication, and Introduction to Marketing and Advertising, which introduce the digital media landscape and the fundamentals of communication. These courses provide a base understanding of how media messages are created, distributed, and consumed along with insights into audience behaviour and ethical considerations.

Year 2 — Core Skills and Media Literacy:
The second year focuses on applied digital communication with modules like Writing for Digital Media, Media Content Creation, Photography and Digital Editing, and Introduction to Media and Artificial Intelligence, where learners begin producing professional multimedia materials. This stage deepens students’ understanding of narrative, visual communication, and emerging technologies shaping digital content production.

Year 3 — Advanced Production & Analysis:
In the third year, students take advanced digital media courses such as Digital Media Research, Web Design, and Digital Media and Community Issues, which enhance analytical skills and prepare students to create strategic digital solutions. Electives like Data Journalism, Social Media Communication Strategies, and Storytelling allow specialisation in areas that reflect current industry trends, from analytics to immersive storytelling.

Year 4 — Professional Practice & Capstone:
The final year integrates learning through Field Training in Digital Media (internship) and a Digital Media Graduation Project, where students apply their accumulated skills in real-world contexts and produce professional work for portfolios.
