Textiles degree is a rare mix of creative exploration with integrated business studies, including a work placement. This combination of the artistic and the commercial gives us a great track record of producing successful graduates.

The entry requirements for A-levels or BTEC are within the range of A-level BBB–BCC (120–104 UCAS Tariff points), or BTEC Extended Diploma DDM–MMM. Our conditional offers usually fall within this range. We are seeking highly motivated and creative students, and we evaluate each applicant on an individual basis. Your application must include a portfolio, which is the most crucial and mandatory component. Even if your predicted or actual grades are below the specified range, we will still consider your application if your portfolio demonstrates your thinking, ideas, and abilities effectively.

For the Art foundation diploma, a pass is required. However, having a foundation diploma is not mandatory for admission as we accept a variety of qualifications for this course.

Regarding the International Baccalaureate, a minimum of 30 points is required, with at least three subjects at the Higher level.

For the Access to HE diploma, a pass is necessary, with a total of 60 credits. Preferably, the credits should be related to art and design courses. Among the 60 credits, at least 45 must be at level 3, and a minimum of 30 credits should be at the merit level or higher.

If you hold a Foundation degree/HND/degree, it may allow you to enter the course in the second year or later, depending on the qualification you possess and your level of creative and practical experience.
