Program Overview

The Structural Engineering with Architecture programme combines a focus on structural engineering with an appreciation of the architectural context. The programme is taught jointly with the Edinburgh School of Architecture & Landscape Architecture (ESALA), part of Edinburgh College of Art. Students spend approximately half their time taking Architecture classes in the first year. The architecture component continues in later years but the time spent in these classes is reduced as the focus shifts to core structural engineering courses.
