The 3D Design and Craft degree program offers you access to spacious specialized workshops where you can work with wood, metals, ceramics, polymers, and digital technology. For admission to their program, you must meet certain entry requirements, which can be satisfied through A-levels or BTEC qualifications. The expected range for A-level grades is BBB-BCC (equivalent to 120-104 UCAS Tariff points), while for BTEC Extended Diploma, it is DDM-MMM. Generally, our conditional offers fall within this range. We seek highly motivated and creative students, and each application is evaluated on an individual basis. The most crucial and mandatory component of your application is your portfolio. Even if your predicted or actual grades fall below the specified range, we will still consider your application if you can demonstrate your thinking, ideas, and abilities through a high-quality portfolio. Art Foundation Diploma A pass in an art foundation diploma is not a mandatory requirement for admission. It is just one of the various qualifications that we accept for this course. International Baccalaureate We require a minimum of 30 points in the International Baccalaureate, with at least three subjects at Higher level. Access to HE Diploma To meet our requirements, you need to have a pass in an Access to HE diploma, with a total of 60 credits. Preferably, the credits should be related to art and design courses. Among these credits, a minimum of 45 must be at level 3, and at least 30 credits should be at a merit level or above. Previous Study or Relevant Experience If you have a relevant qualification, HE credits, or experience, it may be considered towards your course at Brighton. This could exempt you from certain elements of the course or allow you to start in the second or third year. English Language Requirements To demonstrate your proficiency in English, you need an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum score of 5.5 in each element.
