You will learn about textile materials and commercial garment production and develop CAD skills which will enable you to produce professional presentations. You will also be introduced to the roles and responsibilities within a typical buying office. You will be taught about the life cycle of a product from concept stage through to delivery on to the shop floor, and key aspects of trading. You will then build on this experience in the second year.
Should have good portfolio and normally Art and Design Foundation or 112 points from at least 2 A levels and including grade C in Art and Design, International Baccalaureate with 26+ Points including Art and Design, IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band, or equivalent, Interview and Portfolio. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 65%.
