Year 2:
The focus shifts to advanced production and critical study with modules such as Filmmaking 2 – Moving Image Portfolio, Film History and Theory 2 – Cinemas of the World, and Professional Practice 2 – Screen Archives: Preservation, Conservation and Usage. Students refine their practical filmmaking abilities, create diverse media projects, and learn to preserve and analyse cinematic heritage.

Optional Placement Year:
Students can undertake a placement to gain real-world experience in the film and media industry, enhancing employability and professional networks.

Year 3:
In the final year, students consolidate their skills through independent projects and specialized modules, preparing a portfolio that showcases both creative and critical expertise, readying them for graduate careers in media, journalism, festival management, or production.
