Award-winning media professionals many of whom still work in the industry will help you unlock the secrets of making memorable TV. You ll get practical, hands-on experience in camera operating, directing, presenting, sound recording, script-writing and editing. You ll work in our fully equipped TV studios, where you ll learn the art of being a vision mixer, autocue operator and floor manager. And you ll learn the key art of filming on location. You ll develop the twin skills of employability and entrepreneurship, enabling you to work as a freelancer or even set up your own production company. And we ll encourage you to spend a life-changing semester studying abroad, with partners in countries such as Australia, Germany and the USA.
For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths, A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses, value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement, IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
