The BA (Hons) Jazz and Cabaret Performance program focuses on enhancing your abilities as a solo performer in jazz singing or playing, as well as refining your skills as part of an ensemble. This degree is designed to prepare you for careers in various performance settings such as cruise ships, hotels, and entertainment venues.
Throughout your studies, you will receive personalized instruction in your chosen vocal or accompaniment discipline. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in our diverse range of musical groups, including six orchestras, five choirs, and nine other performance ensembles. Not only will you be trained in the art of performance itself, but you can also choose to explore complementary subjects like the Alexander Technique, yoga, and other relevant skills. A recognised and relevant foundation/Access course (minimum pass mark for a UK-based foundation programme is usually 55%), Higher Secondary School Certificate with a minimum score of 60%, High School Diploma (to age 18) where it is deemed equivalent to A Levels (3 A Level passes at BCC-CCC), An International Baccalaureate (26 points), EDEXCEL BTEC National Diploma (MMM-DMM), IELTS 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 (or equivalent).
