Program Overview

The BSc Business Data Analytics equips students with essential data-driven decision-making skills for today’s tech-savvy business landscape.

  • Delivered by Bangor Business School, the program blends data analytics with strategic management, preparing students for roles that bridge business and technology.
  • Through a combination of technical training and business insight, students develop the ability to interpret complex data and apply findings to real-world challenges.

Module structure:
The program covers data analytics, business intelligence, statistical modeling, and strategic management. Core modules include Data Analytics, Business Applications, Quantitative Methods, Database Systems, Machine Learning, and a Dissertation. Optional modules allow specialization in areas like Marketing Analytics or Financial Risk.

  • Placement Year: An exciting opportunity to spend a year working with a self-sourced, professional organisation relevant to your studies, starting between June and September of the second year and finishing by the following June or September. Placements can be UK-based or overseas.

  • International Experience Year: Optional additional year abroad, allowing students to graduate with ‘International Experience’ in their degree title.
