Program Overview

This program combines core business studies with a focus on human resource management (HRM), providing students with a comprehensive understanding of how organizations operate and how to manage people effectively. The curriculum covers areas such as organizational behavior, employment law, and strategic HRM, alongside modules in marketing, finance, and operations.

Course Structure:

  • Year 1: Introduction to business and management, fundamentals of HRM, and organizational behavior.

  • Year 2: Advanced topics in HRM, including employment law and talent management, along with business strategy and marketing.

  • Year 3: Strategic HRM, leadership, and a research project or dissertation on a relevant topic.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

  • Students have opportunities to engage in practical projects, case studies, and internships, enhancing their real-world experience.
  • The program also offers options for industry placements or study abroad, allowing students to apply their knowledge in diverse settings.

Progression & Future Opportunities

Graduates are well-equipped for careers in human resource management, management consultancy, recruitment, project management, and marketing.

  • They have secured positions in organizations such as EY, Siemens, the NHS, and the Ministry of Justice. Some graduates also pursue further study, including master's degrees or PhDs.

Many graduates also choose to go on to further study, taking a master’s degree or PhD.
