Independent Study & Support
Independent study is essential, with students expected to complete self-directed research, reading, and assessments. The course is delivered through modules designed to help manage time and establish a study routine. Academic advisors and subject-specific librarians are available for guidance.
Placement Year
A one-year paid placement is available, with a reduced fee of £2,450 for this year.

Leeds Business School has strong industry links within the city and the wider region, providing students with a range of opportunities to enhance their employability skills.
Students will have access to the guest lecture program, which has featured notable speakers such as the CEO of the London Stock Exchange, Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury, past Chair and President of the Academy of Marketing, Chief Executive of the British Bankers Association, the Chief Economist of Yorkshire Bank, and the Editor of Cosmopolitan. Developing Practical Experience
Students can apply their knowledge in real-world settings with an optional year-long placement in industry.
Students will develop a strong global outlook and a range of transferable skills highly sought after by future employers. They will achieve a high level of personal and professional development, gaining confidence in their critical thinking and interpersonal skills. Additionally, students will acquire strong digital literacy and learn how to adopt an entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial approach in the workplace.
By undertaking a paid work placement in their third year, students will further enhance their employability.
