Program Overview

The BSc (Hons) Business Management with Marketing at the University of Plymouth blends core business management competencies with in-depth marketing expertise.

This degree equips students to develop creative, data-informed marketing strategies, understand consumer behaviour, and engage in real-world business contexts. Emphasis is placed on communication, collaboration, and innovation, with many opportunities for experiential learning and client-based projects.

The curriculum also develops students' ability to understand global business environments while preparing them for dynamic careers in marketing and management.

Course overview:

Year 1: Business culture and behaviour, marketing and digital economy, leadership development, global business environment

Year 2: Financial data analysis, people management, business decision-making, operations; optional modules in strategic marketing, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and sustainability

Year 3: Honours project, strategy and leadership, enterprise and innovation; optional modules include consultancy, experiential practice, and advanced marketing topics

Optional Placement Year available between Year 2 and Year 3
