Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

Brunel places great emphasis on work experience. Choices are:

  • Professional Placement Year: The student has the opportunity for a year's placement between the second and third years, with work-based practice in industry.

  • Brunel Summer Internship Programme (BSIP): Eligible students can participate in an eight-week paid internship in their first summer break, with exposure to industry.

  • Student Societies and Networking Events: Engagement with professional networks and alumni through a number of events enhances learning beyond the classroom.
