Year 1

Year 2

This year deepens HR expertise through modules including Human Resource Management in Practice, Human Resource Management: Managing Our Working Lives, and Understanding People and Management. Students also study Ethics and Responsibility in a Global Context to understand the moral and sustainability dimensions of business, and Research Methods for Business and Management to build skills for future projects or dissertations.

Year 3 – Study Abroad Year

Students spend a full academic year at one of Lancaster’s international partner universities. During this year, they continue studying business and HR-related subjects while experiencing new cultures, learning styles, and organisational environments, gaining a truly global outlook.

Year 4

In the final year, students take advanced modules such as Contemporary Perspectives on Work and Human Resources, Managing People and Change, Managing People Globally, and Work and Employment Relations in the Global Economy. They also complete a final Capstone Project, applying their knowledge to investigate a real-world HR or management challenge.
