Year 1

Students establish a solid understanding of business through modules including Learning Perspectives, Money, Finance and Decisions, Markets and Legal Frameworks, and Sports Marketing, Branding and Sponsorship. They explore how sports organisations, clubs, athletes, events, and governing bodies create commercial value through branding, sponsorship, fan engagement, and strategic partnerships while developing knowledge of finance, economics, and business law.

Year 2

The second year focuses on the commercial and strategic aspects of the sports industry through modules such as Sport, Business and Social Change, Sports Methods and Business Drivers, and Industry Challenge. Students investigate leadership, sustainability, innovation, sports governance, technology, and global business trends while applying their knowledge through live industry projects, an Entrepreneurial Challenge, optional Placement, or Study Abroad opportunity.

Year 3

In the final year, students strengthen their strategic leadership and decision-making capabilities through Performance and Decisions in Sport, Disruptive Strategies and Models, and the two-part Major Project. They examine commercial strategy, digital transformation, finance, data-informed decision-making, and emerging trends across the sports industry while completing an independent consultancy or research project aligned with their professional ambitions.
