Program Overview
This four-year route lets you study the full Marketing and Management curriculum and spend your third year at one of Durham University Business School’s international partner universities. Curriculum structure

Year 1
You begin with a shared core syllabus that builds foundational knowledge in marketing and management. Drawing from psychology, sociology, anthropology, and economics, you explore consumer behaviour, digital marketing, and business principles while developing your analytical and communication skills.

Year 2
In the second year, the focus shifts to more strategic areas: marketing communications, consumer behavioural science, branding, and market research form a central part of your learning. Year 3 (Study Abroad)
This year is spent at a partner university abroad—options have included institutions across Australia, Canada, the USA, China, Germany, Spain, and more. You'll study marketing-related subjects in an international setting and develop cultural and language awareness.

Year 4
Returning to Durham, your final year combines a core dissertation or strategic management module with up to three optional advanced choices like Global Marketing, Social Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, Design Thinking or Leadership.
