Program Overview

This four-year BA (Hons) in International Marketing with study abroad equips you with a global perspective on marketing strategy, brand management, and digital techniques. It is ideal for students passionate about entering international markets and understanding the cultural, ethical, and strategic complexities of marketing in a diverse world.


Curriculum Structure

Year 1
You start with shared foundational modules that include buyer behaviour, fundamentals of marketing, digital marketing essentials, professionalism in marketing, and the global business environment. You can also choose an optional language or specialization module.

Year 2
This year dives deeper with modules like global market strategies, consumer insights, and marketing analytics. You also select from options such as ethics, B2B, retail, services, social media, sports marketing, or additional business or language studies. There’s also the chance to study abroad or undertake a placement year.

Year 3 (Study Abroad)
Currently, you can take a Year Abroad studying (or combining work and study) in Berlin, Copenhagen, Madrid, Paris, and other locations including Brisbane, Sydney (Australia), Hong Kong, Japan, Canada and the USA. There are also many opportunities for those with appropriate language skills to study in the local language in France, Germany, and Spain, among others.

Year 4
In the final year, you explore cross-cultural marketing studies, international market planning, marketing communications, and analytics. You’ll complete a major project or dissertation, and choose advanced options like interactive marketing, brand management, new product development, or sustainability.
