The Computing and Information Technology programme will enable you to build a strong technical knowledge together with a functional management focus. Through a lively mix of teaching methods you will learn about business finance and information security management, software engineering, programming and new developments in computing particularly emerging web and cloud technologies. The Department has an excellent network of contacts within industry to ensure a smooth transition from university into the real world. Many of the students opt to take a Professional Training placement year, giving them invaluable real world experience and a head start when they enter the job market.
A-level Overall: ABB, required subjects:Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Computing or Software Systems Development. IELTS of 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each band. International Baccalaureate Overall: 33, Required subjects: Mathematics or Physics or Computer Science HL5/SL6. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 70%.
