You ll study coaching models and styles, as well as psychosocial aspects such as learning and leadership. We ll teach you the professional codes to which coaches must adhere, exploring the ethical and moral responsibilities of the coach. Understanding the principles of performance analysis is crucial, so you ll learn how to identify performance indicators and coaching strategies across a variety of sports. You ll examine the physiological components of performance, learning about skeletal and muscular anatomy and function.
For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths, A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses, value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement, IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
