The Primary Mathematics Education degree program leads to the attainment of Qualified Teacher Status, providing individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to become confident and capable teachers for children aged 5-11, with a deeper understanding of mathematics as a subject.

Practical learning opportunities will be provided through placements in two carefully selected schools. With over 600 placement partners, we offer a diverse range of experiences in different settings, including large, small, urban, and rural schools. For A-levels: The required grades are BBB. For BTEC: The required grades are DDM. For International Baccalaureate: You must achieve 30 points, with at least three subjects, including mathematics, at the Higher level. For Access to HE Diploma: You need to pass with a total of 60 credits. Level 3 units in mathematics are required. At least 45 credits should be at level 3, with 24 credits at distinction and the remaining credits at merit. English language requirements: You must have an overall IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and at least 5.5 in the other elements.
