The BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS degree is a three-year undergraduate course that leads to the award of an honours degree and qualified teacher status. This degree can also be partly studied through the medium of Welsh. The course aims to prepare student teachers to be highly-skilled, confident, critically reflective and innovative practitioners who are committed to life-long professional learning and the education of young people.
Students with good grades in their Higher Secondary School Certificates - Indian School Certificate (ISC) / Intermediate Certificate / Higher School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate / Pre-University Course - awarded on completion of Standard XII. IELTS 7.5 overall* with no sub score lower than 7.0. A Levels:115 points to include grades BCC, Work Experience, Personal Statement, A DBS check, Academic reference. All applicants should: Have the aptitude, capability, and resilience to meet the required QTS outcomes by the end of their ITE programme; Possess the appropriate personal and intellectual qualities to become excellent practitioners; Read effectively and be able to communicate clearly and accurately in spoken and written English and/or Welsh;
