A recognised and relevant foundation/Access course (minimum pass mark for a UK-based foundation programme is usually 55%), Higher Secondary School Certificate with a minimum score of 60%, High School Diploma (to age 18) where it is deemed equivalent to A Levels (3 A Level passes at BBB/BCC) including Higher Mathematics at 5, An International Baccalaureate (30 points), EDEXCEL BTEC National Diploma (DDM-DMM), IELTS 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 (or equivalent).
By completing our BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Secondary Teaching (QTS) programyou will be eligible for the recommendation of Qualified Teacher Statuswhich allows you to teach in schools in England and WalesUpon graduationyou will possess a well-rounded experiencecomprehensive knowledgeand the necessary skills to meet the Teachers' Standards set by the Department for Education for Key Stage 3 and 4 (ages 11-16)Many of our graduates choose to pursue careers in teaching mathematics at secondary schoolswhile others opt to further their academic journey through postgraduate studies
