Learn how to manage health and safety in the workplace with UWS's BSc (Hons) Occupational Safety & Health programme.You'll study a range of topics appropriate to modern approaches to occupational health and safety, including legal systems; safety management systems; risk assessment; risk reduction; risk control techniques; fostering a safe and healthy work culture in the workforce; environmental management; and health and wellbeing. On completion of this programme you will be eligible to apply for membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Grad IOSH). The IOSH membership grade awarded will be dependent on your qualifications and work experience. This programme will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage the health and safety of your organisation.This programme is designed to give you a competitive edge as an occupational safety and health professional in a range of industry sectors.You'll learn about modern approaches to health and safety in the workplace.This programme is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) and you can become a student member during your studies.
