The 4-year BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering degree, including a sandwich placement year, prepares you to apply professional engineering knowledge to biological systems. You'll study areas such as:
Rehabilitation engineering (prosthetics/orthotics)
Biomaterials and implant design
Tissue engineering and wound repair
Genomic coding and genetic engineering
Medical technology (design and manufacturing)
