The BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering at the University of Bolton is a professionally accredited, hands-on degree designed in collaboration with healthcare and engineering industries. This three-year course equips students with the practical and theoretical knowledge needed to design, develop, and maintain medical technologies that improve patient care. Emphasis is placed on real-world projects, small group learning, and industry engagement.
Students benefit from close links with local hospitals and engineering firms, as well as the opportunity to participate in national competitions such as the IMechE Design Challenge.
