Mechatronics gives you the opportunity to become a professional Engineer with sound analytical proficiency in embedded systems, digital electronics, dynamics and control, complemented by the 3D-design and management skills necessary to work in modern industry.Mechatronics is the widely recognised term for the integration of mechanical, electronic and intelligent control sub-systems to realise a complete system, which may be a product, machine or process. The multidisciplinary nature of Mechatronics employs design principles, processes, models, toolsets and philosophy unique to Mechatronics Engineers which enable design and development of simpler, more economical and reliable systems.
112 UCAS points from at least two A-levels or equivalent, including A-level Mathematics at B or above or Applied Science, International Baccalaureate with 26+ points with Maths at higher level grade 6, an IELTS core of 6.0 (including a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 65%.
