On this degree students will examine in detail the similarities and differences between literature written in different places and at different times. Focus extends beyond the modern works of literature of Europe to the Americas, Australia, China, the Middle East, South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Where else in the UK can you study African literature in English and French alongside Greek modernist poetry, or modern Indian literature alongside the eighteenth-century European novel All in a central London location that opens the doors to endless world-class libraries, institutes, galleries, concert halls and theatres.
The typical A-Level offer is: AAB, IB: 35. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 83%. IELTS 7.0 overall with at least 6.5 in each component. Personal statement required.
