2 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
English Literature with English Language Studies offers the opportunity to study both traditional English Literature and also English language (grammatically, linguistically, and so forth), and to enjoy the interactions between these two forms of study. Two-thirds of the programme is devoted to the study of literature, criticism, creative writing, and film. The main focus here is English Literature. The minor consists of modules that focus on a range of English language studies perspectives (e.g. Diversity and Change in English, and Language, Society and Power); some modules also provide opportunities for students to improve their English for academic purposes (e.g. English Composition). The degree is available to both native speakers and students for whom English is a second language in their home country (such as Nigeria or Singapore).

2 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
For advanced EFL speakers, the study of English literature presents both a challenge and an unparalleled opportunity to acquire near-native competence in comprehension of the techniques and beauties of the English language. Roughly a third of the courses on the programme are devoted to the study of literature. The EFL minor is taken by students for whom English is a foreign language in their home country (such as China or Japan). The EFL minor consists of modules which have a dual function: each module provides its own English language studies focus (e.g. Interpersonal Communication or English in Society) as well as providing English language improvement opportunities both for general and academic purposes.
