This English Language for Speech and Language Therapy degree has been developed specifically for those aiming for a future career in Speech and Language Therapy (SLT). While this degree does not lead to SLT certification upon graduation, the aim and goals of this undergraduate course is to help build a strong foundation for further postgraduate study and subsequent certification as a speech language therapist. You will become proficient in understanding how English works, why and how it is used, and where it has come from. You will also develop extensive knowledge of English linguistics and the areas of general linguistic theory that underpin study in this field.

96 - 128 tariff points from a level 3 qualification* no specific subjects required. *Level 3 qualifications include A levels, BTEC, Access, Irish Highers, International Baccalaureate, Welsh Baccalaureate, Scottish Advanced Highers and others, Personal Statement and IELTS of 6.0. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 65%.
