While this degree does not lead to SLT certification upon graduation, the aim and goals of this undergraduate course is to help build a strong foundation for further postgraduate study and subsequent certification as a speech language therapist. You will become proficient in understanding how English works, why and how it is used, and where it has come from. You will also develop extensive knowledge of English linguistics and the areas of general linguistic theory that underpin study in this field.
