The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 ranks Lancaster 2nd for German and 11th for English. Your German Studies programme enables you to acquire high-level language skills while gaining a thorough understanding of the country s historical, cultural, social and political background in a global context. In English Literature you will study a wide range of authors, genres, historical periods, literary movements, techniques and critical approaches.
The typical A-Level offer is: AAB, IB: 35. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 75%. IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component.
