On this programme you will study History alongside a language (Chinese, French, German, Italian or Spanish, from beginners or advanced level). You’ll develop written and oral skills and will learn about cultural aspects, including national histories. You can choose from a range of topics from medieval to contemporary history. This joint course History will impart a solid knowledge of different nations in a variety of historical periods, equipping you with transferable skills highly sought after by employers. All language modules include written skills (e.g. translation and essay writing) and oral skills taught by a native speaker.
