A career in the rapidly-growing events sector requires managers with robust communication, leadership and managerial skills to create the wow factor. This course seeks to develop these employability attributes. This course will develop your appreciation of events planning, financial management, project management, marketing and risk management, facilitating an effective platform to launch your career. Managing events is exciting and the potential for graduates is considerable. Opportunities are varied and can lead to careers in sub sectors of the industry such as meetings and exhibitions, sporting events, festivals, wedding planning and incentive travel.
An overall average of at least 65% in 12th Standard from both State and Central Examination Boards, IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
A-levels: An A-level grade profile of BCC-CCC.
T-levels: A T-level graded Pass with a core component of grade C.
BTEC: A BTEC grade profile of DMM-MMM. This can be achieved from either an Extended Diploma or a combination of smaller BTEC qualifications.
Tariff: Other Level 3 qualifications are accepted for entry. A minimum of 104-96 UCAS Tariff points will be required.
Access to Higher Education Diploma: 104-96 UCAS Tariff points including a minimum of 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction.
