Additional Information & Requirements

For A-levels or BTEC qualifications, the entry requirements range from A-level BBB–BCC (120–104 UCAS Tariff points) or BTEC Extended Diploma DDM–DMM. Typically, our conditional offers align with these grade ranges. Applicants who have a combination of A-levels and BTEC qualifications will receive offers based on the aforementioned grades. In terms of the International Baccalaureate, a minimum of 30 points is required, with at least three subjects studied at the Higher level. To meet the Access to HE Diploma requirements, a pass is necessary, with a total of 60 credits overall. Among these credits, at least 45 must be at level 3, including 24 credits at the distinction level and 21 credits at merit level or higher. For T-levels, a merit grade in either the Healthcare Science or Science T-level is acceptable. Other T-levels are not considered for admission. If you have previous qualifications, Higher Education (HE) credits, or relevant experience, they may be taken into account for your course at Brighton. This could potentially exempt you from certain course elements or enable you to start in the second or third year. Regarding English language proficiency, an overall IELTS score of 6.0 is required, with a minimum score of 5.5 in each individual element.
