You ll cover the key elements of sport and exercise sciences, exploring a range of theories and concepts relating to physiology, biomechanics, and psychology. More importantly, you ll develop key laboratory skills in a range of disciplines which will help you to improve the performance of athletes. Whatever path you choose, you ll put theory into practice by completing two professional work placements. You can complete your placements in the UK or abroad, and you ll have the opportunity to volunteer or study abroad as part of your degree. We ll also give you first-hand experience of working with athletes through Trinity Performance, our sport and exercise science enterprise service that offers coach education, consultancy and health assessments to professional athletes.
For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths, A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses, value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement, IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
