Program Overview

This degree has been designed to develop your understanding of sport coaching science, with a particular emphasis on all levels of golf performance and participation. You will understand the factors that affect engagement and performance, and develop strategies to optimise performance on the golf course. You will gain an understanding of biomechanics, strength and conditioning and sport psychology. In addition to your academic studies you will also enter a competitive golf Order of Merit to continue your playing and coaching development. This course has input and hands-on workshops from several leading experts in the world of golf including European Tour professionals and former Ryder Cup players.

Additional Information & Requirements

You must achieve at least 112 UCAS points, including a minimum of CC at A Level or equivalent (e.g. MM at BTEC Diploma; MPP at BTEC Extended Diploma) towards the total tariff, A Level 3 qualification (e.g. A Level or BTEC level 3) in a sport, PE or science related subject, 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above to include GCSE English, mathematics and science, or recognised equivalents are also required,At least one satisfactory reference, IELTS score of, 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each individual component
