Ancient History BA degree course allows students to study a diverse range of periods, countries and cultures to suit your interests. They can explore topics from earliest Greece to Rome and beyond, right up to the influence of Classics on modern history and current affairs. The course covers a vast geographical area, from Roman Britain to the Black Sea, Persia, Egypt and North Africa. While students will focus on the historical modules, they will also have the opportunity to explore study areas in literature, art and philosophy, and learn Latin and/or Greek.
The typical A-Level offer is: AAB, IB: 35. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 83%. IELTS 7.0 overall with at least 6.5 in each component. Personal statement required.
