The modern world is the product of the events of the last three centuries and through our wide-ranging modules you can analyse the processes that have shaped politics, culture, society and economics across the globe. You will be able to choose modules that explore these concerns within a British, American, African and European context and develop your own focus of concern on war, capitalism, urbanism, democracy, nationalism, citizenship, gender and ethnicity.
A recognised and relevant foundation/Access course (minimum pass mark for a UK-based foundation programme is usually 55%), Higher Secondary School Certificate with a minimum score of 60%, High School Diploma (to age 18) where it is deemed equivalent to A Levels (3 A Level passes at BBB/BCC), An International Baccalaureate (28 points), EDEXCEL BTEC National Diploma (MMM-DMM), IELTS 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 (or equivalent).
