This course is for those who want to ask deep questions about what it means to be human, to explore others answers to those questions and the way that they have shaped actions and society in particular times and places.The students don t just study what others have said, or learn names and dates, however, they are philosophers and historians, investigating and interpreting evidence and ideas for themselves, in order to understand individual, social and cultural identities.
