The University of Hertfordshire has an international reputation for the quality of its research in history. History is one of the largest subject areas on the Humanities Programme. This means it can offer you a very wide choice of modules, focusing on the political, social and cultural history of the period since 1500.The academic study of journalism involves the development of key journalistic skills including the ability to write a news story, conduct an interview and put together a feature. Students also conduct analysis of differences between types of newspaper and the news values they display.

112 - 120 UCAS points, the typical A-Level offer is: BBC-BBB. Minimum percentage required (12 standard or HSC) 65%. IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each band.
